Botanical Series

 The Botanical Series is the first collection of stencils that I have developed. Careful consideration was given to each and every shape to assure that the maximum effects could be achieved when combining the shapes with one another and also when used in combination with the Background Series. The scale of the shapes are also very important as they allow plenty of room to develop the shading and blending with various colors that makes these designs so rich and vibrant. Please be sure to take a look at the Background Series of stencils as well, as they have been created to integrate extremely well with the Botanicals : Background Series Collection

Nasturtium: $14.95

Most people here in northern California have trouble keeping the beautiful nasturtium from taking ove; I seem to have the opposite problem. Howeve, now I can enjoy them anytime as they grace my home with their cheerful colors and interesting shapes. Size Reference:Flower: 5 1/2" with stem, Large Leaf: 3 1/2" in diameter.

This design is my absolute favorite. Who could possibly dream up anything more magnificent than this intricate bloom that so beautifully lends itself to this stylized rendition?

Thistle: $14.95

 The stately thistle holds very fond memories for me. When I was young our horse pasture was full of thistles. When the huge purple blooms were at their peak my horses loved to pluck them from their thorny crowns and very cautiously enjoy the sweet blooms prickles and all. It was always a source of amusement to see what they were willing to endure for what they must have considered to be quite a delicacy.

Fuchsia: $14.95

My paternal grandmother was an avid gardener. Her tiny house was located along the banks of a shady creek which was the perfect environment for her many varieties of fuchsias. I always loved these delicate flowers that remind me of the skirts of dainty ballerinas swaying in the breeze.

Poppy: $14.95

Poppies are one of the most interesting shapes to be eofund in the garden. An added bonus is the seed pods that emerge when the flowers are spent.
