The Hummingbird's Charm

Hand embroidered hummingbird on silk and linen, workshop by April Sproule
A group of hummingbirds is called a charm, which is a fitting name for these birds that are so symbolic in many cultures around the world. The stylized rendition created here depicts the beauty, wonder, and movement of these magnificent tiny creatures.
A systematic breakdown of the steps used to create this art piece will add to your repertoire of skills for future projects.
