These nasturtiums were painted onto Radiance that was hand-dyed. The paints are Jacquard's Neopaque and Lumiere. Wool batting was used between the layers.

Stencils used: Nasturtium, and Squiggles.

Here you can see the detail of the stitching on this piece. This is also a great example of how I layer the images with the stencils. You can very easily create overlaps by simply tapering off with the application of paint as you near another image. I always paint the image in front first, and then any images in the background.
