Grasshopper Moon

This gorgeous piece of hand dyed Radiance, silk/cotton blend, was painted with Neopaque and Lumiere water based paints. Luscious greens, purple, copper, and blue are combined to create a really interesting color palette. The intrigue created with colors and combined shapes comes through clearly in this piece.

Here you can see the detail in the little blue border. It was designed to replicate the shapes found in the grasshopper itself.
