Improv Textile Collage, Two Day Workshop
In the expanded two day version of this class, you’ll create a fun, expressive, and visually stunning piece of art suitable for display. Working with fabric and paper, the first day will highlight tried and true concepts for color and design to help you better understand your particular style. You will construct a hand stitched 14” x 18” original piece.
On the second day, we will explore various ways to bring your piece to life using hand stitching to accentuate your design. Tips on stitching techniques help guarantee the best results for your project. This workshop will give you a completely new perspective of what can be done using mixed media collage.
Everything you need to know to finish your project will be covered in class so you can finish it later on.
You will be guided through challenging issues so you can make better design choices with newfound ease and confidence in this and future projects.
