I am thrilled to be creating a monthly Membership where I can create a shared experience with my students and others who love Mixed Media Textile Arts! The main objective is to help you establish a viable, innovative Mixed Media Textiles practice rooted in exploration and play.

Over the years I’ve explored everything from hand and machine stitching, exciting surface design techniques, and creating unique compositions with fabric and paper. Combining these techniques in different ways has opened up a world of creative possibilities.

Who I Am, Why I'm Offering This

I’ve spent most of my life working with fabric in one form or another. My professional journey began in the early 1970s with fashion design, eventually leading me into product development, design, and even the practical side of manufacturing and cost accounting.

For 20 years, I ran my own longarm quilting business, created original product lines, and taught workshops on contemporary quilting and stitching. Along the way, I’ve learned through deep research, hands-on exploration, and plenty of trial and error—some results wonderful, others… not so much!

Sharing what I’ve discovered is one of my greatest joys. This membership is my way of helping others grow their own creative practice while benefiting from both my successes and all those beautifully instructive “mistakes.”
